Rock is located in North Cornwall on the north side of the Camel Estuary across from the fishing port of Padstow. The name comes from the local quarry where the rocks were used as ballast by sailing ships which had unloaded their cargo across the river.

The village of Rock has many shops, including a bakery, newsagent and post office, a gorgeous delicatessen and a small but excellent supermarket. Many very good restaurants and pubs are in Rock or Padstow. A popular holiday choice.

The cottage is situated in the upper region of Rock, near to the shops. Originally a small Victorian cottage it has been imperceptibly extended in the same style to accommodate 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, kitchen and dining area for 10. There is also a downstairs shower room and parking space for two cars.

The decoration and furnishings are vintage and simple. A sheltered terrace outside the living and kitchen areas has a large dining table and seating for eight to ten. The house has something for everyone and Cornwall is lovely all year round, Half-term, Christmas, New Year and summer lets available.

A dog is welcome, please bring your own dog bed and keep the dog off the furniture, and clear any dog poo from the garden.
